As an Armed Patrol Officer at a financial institution location, you will conduct routine patrols, stay visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and provide a calm, professional presence for employees and visitors. This is a driving post, so you will use a valid driver’s license to support mobile patrol coverage and timely response. Requirements

• A valid driver’s license from the state in which the job is located is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess an armed guard card and/or license.
• Client requires proof of HS Diploma/GED.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a financial institution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout the facility, including interior areas, parking areas, and perimeter routes, as permitted by post orders.
• Respond to alarms, disturbances, and other incidents in a calm, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site leadership and/or public emergency responders as needed.
• Control access at designated entry points by verifying identification, monitoring visitor activity, and directing employees and visitors according to site procedures.
• Document patrols, incidents, and unusual activity through written reports and activity logs, and communicate observations to the Allied Universal supervisor and/or client contacts.
