About The Position

As a Security Officer Unarmed Field Response Driver in Indianapolis, IN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, monitor assigned areas, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of manufacturing areas, offices, parking areas, shipping and receiving zones, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity or potential security-related concerns.
  • Monitor access points and visitor entry procedures, verify credentials as required, and help maintain orderly traffic flow for personnel, vendors, and deliveries.
  • Complete activity reports, incident reports, and shift documentation accurately and communicate relevant security-related information to site leadership and incoming personnel.
