Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 or more years of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, access protocols, and site-specific policies at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report suspicious activity, hazards, and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor documentation, and document daily activities, incidents, and observations in accordance with site requirements.
  • Support emergency response activities, including directing people during evacuations, assisting with access control measures, and reporting critical information to the appropriate personnel.
