Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer supporting a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience or a college degree is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, entry points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report suspicious activity and/or policy violations.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials when required, and support authorized entry procedures in accordance with location guidelines.
  • Complete routine logs, incident reports, and other documentation related to daily activities, patrol observations, and/or security-related concerns.
