As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and communicate professionally with visitors and staff. Requirements

Possess at least two years of security-related experience.
A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at a government transportation administration location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of offices, parking areas, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and unauthorized access concerns.
Monitor access points and visitor activity; verify credentials and direct guests according to established site procedures.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.
