Join Allied Universal as an unarmed driving patrol officer in a dynamic retail location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, stay visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this role, you will support a welcoming environment through routine vehicle and foot patrols, teamwork, and integrity while bringing an agile, reliable, and innovative approach to each shift.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card/license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the sales floor, entrances, parking areas, stock areas, and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor customer and employee activity for policy concerns such as trespassing, disorderly conduct, and/or potential theft-related behavior, then report observations according to site guidelines.
• Support opening, closing, and high-traffic period operations by observing access points, assisting with crowd management, and/or reporting maintenance or hazard-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
