About The Position

As a Security Officer Experienced Driver Patrol in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a financial institution location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

• A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a financial institution location.
• Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the building, lobby areas, entry points, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and vendor activity while following post orders, badge procedures, and other security-related protocols for the location.
• Prepare clear, timely reports of incidents, patrol findings, and/or maintenance or policy concerns, and report issues through established communication channels.
