As a Security Officer Experienced Driver Patrol in Penns Grove, NJ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will support daily operations through strong customer service and communication while reflecting Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, and innovative approach, with a caring culture, teamwork, and integrity at the center of every shift.

Requirements

• A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observed activity and communicating with site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the warehouse, shipping and receiving areas, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor and/or driver information in accordance with site procedures, and report delivery, parking, or access concerns to the appropriate contact.
• Support orderly operations by observing loading docks, gate areas, and high-traffic locations, providing directions and reporting maintenance, lighting, and/or property-related issues that could affect daily activity.
