As a Security Officer Credential Records Specialist in Raleigh, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Security Officer supporting a financial institution location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, assist with badge and access control processes, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Your visible presence will help deter security-related incidents while supporting a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Requirements

  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Type at least 40 words per minute.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control processes, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry points, visitor activity, and assigned areas within a financial institution location; assist with reporting unusual activity and escalating concerns according to site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, customer areas, employee workspaces, employee workspaces, parking areas, and perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.
