About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Oak Creek, WI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify badges and credentials, and support a professional, welcoming experience for employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and bring agile, reliable, innovative service through teamwork, care, and integrity every day.

Requirements

  • Client requires proof of high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Control access at entry and exit points by checking credentials, processing visitors, and documenting deliveries, pickups, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and/or first responders when needed.
  • Monitor entrances, gates, loading areas, and other assigned access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and support the orderly flow of people, packages, and/or vehicles.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, with attention to access points, trailer yards, loading docks, and other sensitive areas as assigned.
