About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Screening in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. Requirements

Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, contractors, and visitors by following site-specific access control procedures and other security-related policies at a chemical and petrochemical location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, manage visitor processing, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and support emergency response activities when appropriate.
Maintain accurate access logs, badge records, and incident documentation, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, operational areas, and the perimeter, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
