Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access procedures, verifying credentials, and documenting entries and exits at the location.
  • Monitor entry points, gates, and/or dock access areas to help support authorized access, report unusual activity, and follow security-related protocols for deliveries and visitor processing.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through established communication channels when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including perimeter areas, parking areas, and shipping and receiving zones, as directed by site procedures.
  • Complete required logs, reports, and/or incident documentation related to access activity, property movement, and other security-related events in a timely manner.
