About The Position

As a Security Officer Full Time Entry Screening in Flower Mound, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help maintain a secure environment by screening employees, visitors, and deliveries; monitoring access points; and reporting security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally, and support a welcoming experience. Requirements

  • At least one year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, packages, and deliveries in accordance with established access-control and screening procedures.
  • Verify identification and authorization before allowing entry to restricted areas, and maintain accurate visitor and screening records.
  • Respond to alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of screening areas, access points, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and report observed concerns.
