As a Security Officer Entry Screening Specialist in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Screener at a fast-paced tech and telecommunications location, you will help monitor access, observe activity, and support security-related protocols while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific screening procedures, access control protocols, and/or emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
  • Screen employees, visitors, contractors, and/or deliveries entering the location, verify credentials and authorizations, and report discrepancies according to site policies.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, observing for unusual activity and helping to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Complete required logs, screening records, and incident documentation, and support security-related operations with clear communication and professional presence.
