Join Allied Universal as a Screener at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location, where you will help monitor entry points, screen visitors and team members, and support access control activities. This role combines customer service, communication, and a visible presence to help reduce security-related incidents. Requirements

  • At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • A CPR certification is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures and supporting security-related screening activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Screen individuals, personal property, packages, and/or vehicles entering or leaving designated areas in accordance with post orders and established screening protocols.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations through appropriate site contacts and documentation methods.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, and help to deter unauthorized entry, restricted items, and/or policy violations within the location.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around assigned areas and the perimeter, noting suspicious activity, operational concerns, and/or conditions that may require follow-up.
