About The Position

As a Security Officer Part Time Entry Management in Fort Worth, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will help manage entry points, verify authorized access, monitor activity, and support a secure environment for employees, visitors, and shipments. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly, and use computer or tablet systems as needed. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorization for personnel and vehicles, maintain visitor logs, and communicate access-related concerns to appropriate site contacts.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, loading areas, parking locations, and the business perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by location.
  • Document daily activities, access-control events, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific procedures.
