As a Security Officer - Entry Level Patrol in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a healthcare location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist patients, visitors, and staff with professionalism and care. You will communicate clearly, respond to routine concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment while reflecting Allied Universal’s values of agility, reliability, innovation, teamwork, and integrity.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

A guard card/license is preferred.
Access control/badge experience is preferred.
CPR certification is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to patients, visitors, team members, and vendors while carrying out site-specific procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
Conduct regular and random patrols of healthcare facility areas, parking lots, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established reporting and escalation procedures.
Monitor access points and visitor activity, assisting with direction, access-control procedures, and policy compliance as assigned.
Prepare clear, accurate reports of incidents, observations, and patrol activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.
