Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and help support smooth daily operations. You will remain visible, perform routine patrols, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and/or drivers by following site-specific procedures, access control protocols, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and/or contractors, and maintain accurate access logs to help support authorized movement throughout the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant details to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, loading areas, trailers, gates, yards, and perimeter zones, with working environments and conditions varying by location.
• Observe and report suspicious, unauthorized, and/or unusual activity involving people, packages, vehicles, and freight areas to help support security-related operations and help to deter disruptions.
