As a Security Officer Entry Control and Patrol in Topton, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer supporting a manufacturing and industrial location. You will monitor entry points, verify access credentials, maintain accurate visitor and employee records, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Deliver exceptional customer service and clear communication while working with a reliable, agile team that puts people first and acts with integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Control access to the manufacturing and industrial location by verifying credentials, monitoring entry and exit points, and documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity.
  • Monitor access control systems, alarms, and cameras as assigned; report unusual activity, equipment concerns, and policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and escalation protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, production-adjacent areas, parking areas, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
