About The Position

As a Security Officer Driver Credential Verification in Apple Grove, WV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, support badge processes, and provide outstanding customer service. You will maintain a visible presence, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and help deter security-related incidents. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
  • Monitor access points, verify credentials, manage visitor entry processes, and maintain accurate access-related logs and records in accordance with site requirements.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of entryways, restricted areas, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
  • Communicate professionally with site personnel and visitors while reporting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and policy violations according to established procedures.
