As a Security Officer Entry Control in Palm City, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a residential location, where you will help manage entry activity, monitor assigned areas, and support residents and guests with exceptional customer service and communication. In this people-first role, you will remain visible, conduct routine patrols, and help discourage security-related incidents while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or vendors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor and vendor authorization, and help to control access to the residential community in accordance with property guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting relevant security-related activity and/or unusual conditions.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the residential location and perimeter, observing for security-related concerns and reporting issues to the appropriate contact.
  • Communicate professionally with residents, management, and/or first responders while supporting community rules, visitor processing, and other assigned security-related responsibilities.
