As a Security Officer Entry Control Driver in Edmond, OK, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal at a busy logistics and distribution location as an Access Control Officer in a driving post, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, support visitor and vehicle screening, and help to discourage security-related incidents. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and document entry and exit activity in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, delivery issues, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate relevant information to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, including entrances, shipping and receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, as directed by post instructions.
  • Help to deter unauthorized access, report unusual activity, and support orderly traffic flow for employees, visitors, and/or drivers entering or leaving the location.
