Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Control access at assigned entry and exit points by verifying credentials, screening visitors, monitoring deliveries and pickups, and documenting arrivals, departures, and/or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through proper channels and completing detailed reports.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the location, gate areas, trailer yards, dock areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized access and/or suspicious activity.
• Monitor cameras, communication systems, and access records to help support site operations, identify security-related concerns, and/or assist with investigations as needed.
