Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, and visitors by following access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor authorization, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, and document security-related concerns according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the location and perimeter, observing for suspicious activity, unsecured access points, and/or other security-related issues.
  • Communicate with site contacts, employees, and visitors regarding access procedures, delivery arrivals, and/or other post instructions while maintaining detailed activity reports.
