About The Position

Allied Universal is hiring a full-time Security Officer Entry Authorization in Gretna, Nebraska, to serve and safeguard clients at a logistics and distribution location. The role manages facility entry points, verifies credentials and shipping-related appointments, monitors access activity, and helps provide a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors. The officer maintains a visible presence, communicates clearly, and supports smooth operations while helping deter security-related incidents.

Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles or 21 or older for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
Submit to a background investigation as a condition of employment, in accordance with applicable laws.
Submit to a drug screen as a condition of employment, to the extent permitted by law.
Meet applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
Have a valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and vendors by following site-specific security procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities.
Monitor and control access points; verify credentials and shipping-related appointments; maintain visitor and contractor logs; and direct authorized individuals to appropriate areas.
Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations; notify appropriate site contacts or emergency responders as required.
Conduct regular and random patrols of facility entry points, employee parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, and the business perimeter.
Accurately document daily activities, incidents, and irregular conditions in required reports, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site management.
