About The Position

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization in Lincoln, Nebraska, you will help safeguard a food and beverage location by monitoring entry points, verifying credentials, managing visitor access, and using computer or tablet systems to support daily operations. You will provide customer service to employees and guests, communicate clearly, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. The role includes carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, food production location policies, and appropriate emergency response activities. The position is full-time, pays $18.91 per hour, and has a schedule of Monday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM, Friday 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, Saturday 12:00 AM–8:00 AM, and Sunday 4:00 PM–12:00 AM.

Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; armed roles require applicants to be at least 21.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Applicants are subject to a background investigation in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.
• Applicants are subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Meet any applicable state or local licensing requirements, which may be required before employment.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Access-control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors while following site-specific access-control procedures, food production location policies, and applicable emergency response activities.
• Monitor and control entry and exit points; verify credentials and visitor authorization; issue visitor passes; and maintain accurate access-related records.
• Respond calmly to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Monitor restricted areas, contractor and delivery activity, and compliance with entry requirements to help deter unauthorized access.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, exits, parking areas, and the facility perimeter.
