As a Security Officer Entry Authorization Driver in Seadrift, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a chemical/petrochemical location, you will help manage site entry, verify credentials, monitor access points, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will use computer-based systems, communicate clearly with visitors and personnel, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with access control and badges is preferred.
  • Comfortably using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • The ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and delivery drivers by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures, security-related policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Monitor and control entry and exit points, verify identification and authorization, issue visitor credentials, and maintain accurate access logs in accordance with site requirements.
  • Screen vehicles, deliveries, and contractors entering the chemical and petrochemical location in accordance with established procedures and access restrictions.
  • Respond to access-control alarms, incidents, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned entry points, buildings, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized access and identify security-related concerns.
