About The Position

As a Security Officer Entrance Monitor in Richardson, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Access Control Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will monitor entry points, verify credentials, and support a professional, welcoming environment. You will perform routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • CPR and/or First Aid certification is preferred.
  • A state, county, and/or city-issued security-related license is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, screen visitors and deliveries, and maintain accurate access logs for a manufacturing and industrial location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating security-related concerns according to site procedures.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility, production areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report maintenance, access, and/or security-related issues.
  • Support workforce and visitor movement by giving clear directions, enforcing badge and visitor management processes, and communicating with site contacts regarding access requests and restricted areas.
