As a Security Officer Entrance Control in Hollywood, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more. Join Allied Universal at a residential location where you will monitor entry points, verify access, and conduct routine patrols to help deter security-related incidents while delivering outstanding customer service and communication. In this Access Control role, you will support a welcoming environment for residents and guests, working with a team that values being agile, reliable, innovative, and always acting with integrity.

Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Guard card is required.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
  • Have customer service experience, preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access procedures and other security-related policies at a residential location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify visitor, vendor, and contractor authorization, and document activity in accordance with community guidelines.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to site contacts and/or emergency services when appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the property and perimeter to help identify unauthorized access, property concerns, and other security-related issues.
  • Communicate clearly with residents, management, and team members regarding access requests, policy questions, and incident-related information.
