About The Position

As a Security Officer - Emergency Dispatch in Chandler, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As a Dispatch Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will coordinate security-related communications, monitor systems, dispatch personnel, maintain detailed activity logs, and provide professional customer service. Your awareness and clear communication will help support a secure environment and timely response to incidents. This is a driving position requiring a valid driver’s license. Requirements

  • Possess at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized contractors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
  • Monitor and coordinate incoming calls, radio traffic, alarms, and service requests from a centralized dispatch function; document activity and relay information to appropriate personnel.
  • Dispatch security-related personnel and resources to routine requests, incidents, and critical situations while maintaining clear, accurate communication records.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating notifications according to site-specific procedures.
  • Maintain dispatch logs, incident reports, key control records, and other required documentation while supporting regular and random patrol activity around the facility and perimeter.
