As a Security Officer Emergency Communications in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Have at least 2 years of security-related experience.
  • Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED as required by the client.
  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out site-specific procedures, access protocols, and/or emergency response activities within a technology-focused location.
  • Monitor phones, radios, alarms, cameras, and/or dispatch systems to receive calls for service, document activity, and route information to the appropriate personnel.
  • Respond to incidents, service requests, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while helping to coordinate communication between on-site staff, visitors, and/or first responders.
  • Maintain detailed logs, incident reports, and shift activity records, and help to support security-related operations by tracking events, status updates, and follow-up actions.
  • Conduct regular and random monitoring of the business location and perimeter through available systems and/or communication with field personnel, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
