As a Security Officer Electronic Checkpoint Rounds in Chantilly, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a fast-paced logistics and distribution location. Conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, observe and report concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response protocols at a busy logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading docks, package-handling areas, gates, parking lots, trailer yards, and the facility perimeter.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers in accordance with site procedures.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, access violations, property damage, and other security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
