About The Position

As a Security Officer Electronic Badge Services in Concord, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a food and beverage location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and respond to security-related concerns. You will provide outstanding customer service, use computer or tablet systems to support badge and alarm panel operations, and maintain a professional presence that helps deter incidents. Requirements

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Alarm panel experience is preferred.
Access control and badge experience is preferred.
Customer service experience is preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and appropriate emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, document visitor and contractor access, and help maintain accurate access records.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned areas, including the facility perimeter, parking areas, and access points, and report unusual conditions.
Support security-related procedures for deliveries, contractor arrivals, and restricted areas while maintaining professional communication with site personnel.
