As a Security Officer Electronic Access Monitor in Boise, ID, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Access Control Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and provide outstanding customer service. Requirements

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, contractors, and visitors by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Monitor entry and exit points at a technology, media, and telecommunications location; verify credentials, manage visitor access, and maintain accurate access-related records.
  • Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or security-related concerns.
  • Operate access-control systems, cameras, and communication equipment in accordance with site procedures, while providing professional directions and assistance to authorized visitors.
