Requirements

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• The ability to lift up to 20 lbs is preferred.
• Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, drivers, vendors, and/or employees by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials, review delivery and pickup documentation, and help to deter unauthorized access at the location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate with site contacts and/or local responders as needed.
• Document visitor activity, trailer and vehicle movements, and other security-related incidents in accordance with post orders and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including loading, shipping, receiving, and parking areas, as working environments and conditions may vary by location.
