As a Security Officer - Driving Role in San Diego, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine mobile and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
Possess at least 6 months of security-related experience.
Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

Customer service experience is preferred.
A guard card and/or license is preferred.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
Respond to incidents, property concerns, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.
Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify maintenance or access issues.
Monitor entry points, observe on-site activity, and report suspicious behavior, policy violations, and/or unusual conditions in accordance with post instructions.
Support access control and visitor-related processes, provide directional assistance, and help to maintain an orderly environment for occupants and guests.
