About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role - Swing Shift in Quincy, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access-control policies, and emergency response activities at a data center property.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility interior, exterior, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and contractor entry in accordance with site procedures; maintain accurate logs and complete required documentation.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and following established escalation procedures.
  • Assist with maintaining a professional, orderly environment while helping to deter unauthorized access and supporting the protection of client property.
