As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrols in Kailua, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and help to deter security-related incidents through visible presence and routine rounds. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within a healthcare location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts and/or first responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entry points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to verify identification and/or credentials when required, and report policy concerns or suspicious behavior to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support a professional environment by providing directions, answering questions, and assisting with security-related requests while maintaining awareness of ongoing activity across the location.
