As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Houston, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a commercial real estate location, where you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A minimum of 2 years of security-related experience is required.
  • Must be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • A guard card or license is preferred.
  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and communicate observations to property management and/or public emergency responders when needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout building common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify maintenance or access concerns.
  • Monitor access points, assist with visitor and contractor entry procedures, and document daily activities, incidents, and/or property-related concerns in required reports.
