As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Lancaster, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Requirements

  • Proof of a high school diploma or GED is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access expectations, and other security-related policies at a high-technology location.
  • Respond to incidents, unusual activity, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including notifying appropriate personnel and documenting security-related details.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns at the location.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and support visitor management and/or delivery processing in accordance with security-related protocols.
  • Communicate with site contacts, team members, and/or emergency responders as appropriate while preparing clear, timely reports about daily activities and incident response.
