As a Security Officer Driving Role Patrol in Springfield, MO, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine vehicle and/or foot patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to staff, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, maintenance-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting unusual activity according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity, hazards, and/or operational issues.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials when required, and help to support access control procedures for restricted and/or sensitive areas.
  • Communicate with site contacts, supervisors, and/or first responders as needed regarding incidents, disruptions, and changing conditions at the location.
