Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a utilities location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, complete routine driving patrols in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support daily operations through strong customer service, clear communication, and a caring, reliable approach that reflects teamwork, integrity, and innovation.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities at a utilities location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting details and communicating with site contacts as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
  • Monitor entry and exit activity, verify credentials and/or visitor access as directed by site procedures, and report suspicious behavior or policy violations.
  • Support daily operations by completing assigned reports, maintaining awareness of changing site conditions, and assisting with security-related requests from site leadership and/or emergency responders.
  • Complete routine driving patrols in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy.
