Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a residential location, where you will conduct routine driving and foot patrols, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication to residents and guests. In this dynamic role, you will support a caring environment through teamwork, integrity, and a reliable approach while responding to site needs with agility and professionalism.

Requirements

  • At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Alarm panel experience is preferred.
  • A guard card/license is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to residents, guests, and/or property staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner and document observations according to site expectations.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout residential buildings, common areas, parking locations, and perimeter spaces to help to deter unwanted activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points, visitor activity, and/or property-related entrances to support community protocols and report concerns to property management and/or emergency services when needed.
  • Assist with security-related concerns such as noise complaints, parking issues, amenity checks, and resident assistance requests while maintaining a professional presence throughout the location.
