About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Role Access Screening in Ladson, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Requirements

  • Be at least 21 years of age.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Access control and badge experience is preferred.
  • Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • Customer service experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, vendors, and/or drivers by following site-specific access procedures and supporting security-related protocols at an automotive location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify identification and/or credentials, and help to deter unauthorized access to restricted areas, lots, and/or facilities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report unusual activity according to site procedures.
  • Document visitor arrivals, deliveries, and/or vehicle movements, maintain accurate logs, and communicate relevant updates to site contacts and Allied Universal leadership.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around buildings, parking areas, gates, and perimeter locations as assigned, with working environments and conditions varying by site.
