About The Position

As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Sunrise, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Requirements

• Be at least 21 years of age.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a government location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, document observations, and report maintenance concerns, hazards, and/or suspicious behavior according to site protocols.
• Support public-facing operations by offering directions, assisting employees and visitors, and communicating with local authorities and/or site contacts when needed.
