As a Security Officer Driving Patrol in Saint Paul Park, MN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a chemical and petrochemical location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine driving patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. Requirements

  • Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to site personnel, visitors, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of refinery buildings, access points, parking areas, process areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access control points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and report unauthorized access attempts in accordance with site procedures.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating observations to site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
  • Complete accurate reports, daily activity logs, and shift handoffs while following applicable chemical and petrochemical location requirements.
