Job Description As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol in Englewood, CO , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, conduct routine rounds, and remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents. This is a driving post. You will also support access control activities and deliver strong customer service, all while representing a team that is agile, reliable, innovative, and guided by integrity.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be 21+ years of age.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Customer service experience is preferred.
  • Access control and/or badge experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service by carrying out assigned security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a government location.
  • Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while following post instructions and reporting protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, public areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe visitor, employee, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site rules and assigned responsibilities.
  • Document incidents, daily activities, and/or observed conditions accurately and communicate relevant information to supervisors, local contacts, and/or public officials as appropriate.
