About The Position

As a Security Officer - Driving Guard in Scottsdale, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Hotels & Resorts, and more. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
  • A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
  • CPR certification is preferred.
  • The ability to lift more than 20 lbs is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and/or appropriate emergency response activities within a hotel and resort setting.
  • Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, and report relevant details according to site protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols throughout lobbies, hallways, amenities areas, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
  • Monitor access points and observe on-site activity to help to support authorized entry, protect property, and address security-related concerns with professionalism.
  • Assist with incident documentation, communication with site contacts, and follow-up on security-related issues while maintaining a courteous presence for guests and staff.
