As a Security Officer Driver Visitor Screening in Mont Belvieu, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more. In this driving post, you will monitor entry and exit activity, conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help deter security-related incidents, and support site operations through strong customer service and communication. Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a chemical and petrochemical location.
  • Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or identification, process visitor access, and maintain required logs and reports related to security-related activities.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, while communicating with site contacts and public responders as needed.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the business, restricted areas, and perimeter, observing for unusual conditions and helping to deter unauthorized access and policy violations.
