As a Security Officer Driver Roving Patrol in Zeeland, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a food and beverage location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. This driving position requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and work with integrity as part of Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first team.

Requirements

  • A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

  • Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
  • Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures and reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
  • Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of production areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, access points, and the facility perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
  • Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor and contractor authorization, maintaining required logs, and communicating access concerns to site contacts.
  • Document daily activities, incidents, and unusual conditions in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific reporting requirements.
